nothing more strenuous than lying on some of the worlds best
beaches and leisurely, unhurried nights in relaxing bars then

the gay 'scene' here consists of just a couple of gay friendly bars on the whole
island -

featured Fuerteventura resort is CORRALEJO, located on
the north-easterly tip of the island. A relatively small town,
most of our selected accommodation is just a short walk from the
towns bars, shops and restaurants. As advised above, there is a
very limited gay bar scene on the island (there are 2 gay friendly bars
in Corralejo - both welcoming but unlikely to set the
world on fire - and both without darkrooms, videos, etc...). Most people head for to Fuerteventura for its wonderful
beaches, and the gay section of the Corralejo dunes is about
4kms south of the town centre: regular buses are available, a
taxi costs a few Euros fare each way or if you feel energetic
it's about a 60 minute walk. Full details on the bars and
how to to the beach are detailed in the resort guide sent out
with your travel pack.

Situated in Corralejo town centre, just a few
minutes walk from the port area and bars and restaurants, the Aparthotel Hesperia Bristol Playa has
spacious apartments where you can soak up the the tropical climate of the island of
Fuerteventura.
Each bright, modern self-catering one bedroom apartment has the
usual facilities: bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, lounge and either
a balcony or terrace.

We're pleased to include the Hotels Oliva Beach and Palace
Tres Islas to our Fuerteventura accommodation selection. Both hotels
are operated by the reputable Riu hotel group, ensuring a high level of
standards is maintained. Located directly on
the shoreline next to the Corralejo sand dunes these hotels are just a few
minutes walk from the main gay section of the beach - however, this means
that they're also rather remotely located at five kilometres from the town
centre (taxis and public buses are available) so please keep this in mind!
Both hotels are fairly 'straight' when it comes to clientele and have
predominately German guests (not that this is going to put you off, of
course!)

Recently renovated, the imposing 410 room Riu Oliva Beach hotel
stands directly on the sand dunes of Corralejo (the oblong, foremost
building in the picture above) with both sides of the hotel enjoying
great views on to the beach and sea.
The Oliva Beach has all the facilities you might expect: well
equipped rooms with tv, safe, telephone and balconies with what are
best described as 'side-on' sea views. Hotel facilities include
restaurants, bar, tennis courts, entertainment, snack-bars and
swimming pools.
Board basis at the Oliva Beach is on an 'all-inclusive' basis -
great for budgeting, but please remember that this kind of board basis
attracts more in the way of families(!).

Taking its name from the three islands you can see from the beach
(Lanzarote, Lobos Island and - of course - Fuerteventura itself), the
superior four star Riu Palace Tres Islas is a great choice for a relaxing
break.
The boomerang shaped building gives the hotels 365 rooms (each
furnished to a high standard with fitted carpets, tv, air conditioning
, mini-bar, tv, safe) fabulous views from their balconies (rooms are
available with or without sea views).
The Tres Islas was completely refurbished during the summer of 2007 and the hotel surroundings and facilities continue the emphasis on quality, with bars,
restaurants, shops on hand plus a gym and tennis courts (payable
